The National Council of Jewish Women South Cook Section, awards a
limited number of mini-grants to elementary and junior high school
instructional personnel (grades K-8) to initiate innovative projects that
supplement the classroom curriculum. Priority is given to the most
creative and original ideas and to those ideas which afford the most quality
student participation. Each mini-grant may be up to $350.
Who can apply
South suburban Chicago area school districts included in this project are
Districts 144, 153, 157c, 159,160, 161, 161 (Summit Hill), 162, 163,167
and 170. Applicants may submit more than one application; however, due to limited funds, only one proposal per applicant may be funded. Several
applicants may work together to submit a single project. Prior grant
recipients are welcome to apply, providing they have submitted an evaluation form for funded projects.
Deadline
The deadline for receipt of applications is Thursday, November 18, 2021
Evaluations of the awarded projects must be received by Monday, June 2, 2022
