National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) is a grassroots organization of volunteers and advocates who turn progressive ideals into action. Inspired by Jewish values, NCJW is an inclusive organization that strives for social justice by improving the quality of life for women, children, and families and by safeguarding individual rights and freedoms.
NCJW South Cook Section, established in 1921, recently celebrated our 100th anniversary of community service and advocacy support for the South Suburban communities. We are advocates, tutors, readers, art appreciation volunteers, local agency board members, actors and singers who entertain special needs populations, supporters of local emergency shelters, lunch servers, donors, event planners, and so much more. We welcome your participation and feedback on how South Cook Section can serve your membership, community service and volunteer needs.
