Join us on Wednesday, September 30th at Idlewild Country Club for our 2026 Opening Luncheon and Gift Galleria featuring our speaker, Jacqueline Saper, author of From Mini-Skirt to Hijab: A Girl in Revolutionary Iran. Born in Tehran to Iranian and British parents, Jacqueline Saper, at eighteen, witnessed the civil unrest of the 1979 Iranian Revolution.  She continued to live in the Islamic Republic during its most volatile times, including the Iran-Iraq War. In a deeply intimate and personal story, Jacqueline recounts her life under this new and unpredictable regime including the paradoxes of disparate religions and cultures.
